DONE Making money online via Survey sites and Apps

There are many sites online these days where you can make money from surveys and apps.

By passive earning - I mean sites where you can run an app or program in the background on your mobile / laptop / desktop and can just leave them running which will earn you points.

The three top earners which I have found are:

Swagbucks  Swagbucks is a site which has many different options for earning points. From surveys, joining sites, watching videos, mobile phone apps. Good for both passive earning and non passive earning. For more information on Swagbucks and how to make money from using the site - Click Here.

Mintvine  Mintvine is a marketing research company. In many ways it is similar to swagbucks in the fact that there are many methods of earning points. They give users the chance of earning rewards for shopping locally, taking part in focus study groups and much more.

Prolific    Prolific is a survey site where surveys have been submitted mainly by university students. It's a fantastic earner - but surveys can be infrequent. The surveys pay very highly and equate to an average of £8 an hour - although surveys tend to only be a few minuets long.

DONE swagbucks todolist

Swagbucks Daily To Do List

There is a daily to do list in Swagbucks - completion of items on the list give you 1 extra SB per item, and if you complete them all you get a bonus between 1 and 10SB.

Every day at 8am UK time the Swag day is reset and your daily to do list will start again.

This is how your daily to do list will appear.

As you can see there are 8 tasks to do. Here is a quick breif on how to complete all 8 tasks. Don't worry if you don't manage to complete them all, you will still be given extra SB for each task you do manage to complete.

Task 1: Daily poll.

This is the easiest of the 8 tasks that there is. Click on the daily poll task and it will take you to the daily poll. All you need to do is give an answer to a question. This is a basic question such as "do you own or lease a car" with a few multiple choice answers. Simple tick the appropriate response and you will earn 1Sb for doing this. It will also be ticked off your daily to do list.

Task 2: Daily Crave.

In order to complete the daily crave click daily crave on to your task list or alternatively on the left hand side of screen click "watch" and underneath a new list will come up, click the top link which should say Ncrave. Watch all 3 videos on the Ncrave and give a rating of if you liked it or not after each video (usually about 30secs - 1min) You can leave these running in the background whilst you complete other tasks or visit other sites. As above, when completed this will be ticked off your daily to do list and also reward you with 1Sb.

Task 3: Daily Search.

This task is pretty simple, just click the task on your to do list and it will open a new tab which is basically a web browser, don't worry you don't actually have to search for anything - just by clicking the link will tick off your daily task which will earn you 1Sb. You may also get lucky and win extra Sb by having clicked the search icon.

Task 4: Daily Watch

This can be completed 2 ways. Firstly by a video App, or secondly by clicking a video in the playlist on Swagbucks Watch.

For more information on the Video Apps for mobiles click HERE.

The Video apps are worth doing as can be ran on your mobile and left running. You can also use the swagbutton on your laptop/computer and leave it running throughout the day whilst you do other things on your laptop. To find out more about the Swagbutton click HERE

Task 5: Daily Discover

In order to do this task you have to choose an offer to complete. These offers can be ones which pay out huge amounts of Sb like bingo or gambling sites, but a lot of these involve using your personal details and even depositing money. There are also lower paying offers which involve things like downloading apps or clicking on sponsor sites.  To complete this task you must follow and meet all of the requirements for the offer.

Task 6: Attempt a Gold Survey.

This task is simply for attempting a Gold survey, not for survey completion. Click on the daily task and click this to do it or go to the survey section on the site. If you do manage to complete a Gold survey this will tick off both Task 6 and Task 8 - if you disqualify for the survey then this will automatically tick off task 6. Disqualification from the surveys is usually because you don't meet the survey criteria and are not a suitable candidate for this survey.

Task 7 - Deal of the day.

For this you simply click on the deal of the day task in your daily list which will take you to the deals of the day page - which are usually limited time offers or discoveries. You will receive 1 Sb for this task. Please be aware a lot of the deals of the day ask for personal information or want you to put a deposit in.

Task 8 - Complete a Gold Survey.

For the 8th task you need to complete a gold survey. In order to do this you need to choose a survey and actually complete it without being disqualified. A lot of the surveys are worth 70/80 Sb, but finding one and not being disqualified is difficult. Even if you disqualify you will still get 1Sb for just having attempted the survey.

DONE mobile apps swagbucks

Swagbucks Video App for mobile.

If there is one thing I have learned from Swagbucks is that one of the easy ways to earn SB whilst you are doing other things is to have a video app.

This video app  you can only run twice a day, once after 8am and again between 2am and 8am (UK time).

Firstly you need to Install the video app.

In order to do this go to www.swagbucks.com/mobile then click on More Apps.

You will be given a list of apps that looks like this.

Run each of the video apps in full daily for the highest potential Sb earnings.
For each app there are between 10 and 14 videos which when played will earn you 2 Sb. That may not sound like a lot, but you can run them 5 times each. As there are 5 apps which you can download this should be an easy 50Sb in total to earn.

Start up the app. If there is an option on the app (which most of the above apps have) make sure you choose the quickest videos to make the most Sb possible in the shortest amount of time.

Most of the video clips are under 30 seconds long and will start running and continue to the next on it's own. When all of the videos have played you will get an alert which will pop up telling you that you have earned your 2Sb. Don't forget to do this again 4 more times as these can be done on all of the apps. That's an easy 50 Sb for just loading up the app.

Please note like a lot of apps these days, these apps can use up a lot of battery, so it may be worth running them with the phone plugged in.

Vegetable garden transformation.

I'm new to gardening. However, I'm not new to living Frugally. I couldn't help but see the potential that my garden had to be my own personal vegetable garden. When I moved in the garden was nothing but weeds, a massive conservatory and an overgrown mess! It's taken a lot of hard work to get it in to a vegetable worthy garden.

Last year I grew so many courgettes that

Patio slabs - out of a skip - FREE!
Getting rid of the greenhouse - a lot of time and hard labour.

Yes a greenhouse is useful, but not when it's right in the middle! A useful greenhouse location would be in the corner or at least along a fence edge.

DONE SwagBucks

Swagbucks is a fantastic site where you can earn money many ways online by collecting points known as "swagbucks" or SB for short. These SB's can then be exchanged  for merchandise or gift cards including Amazon e-vouchers and money in to your PayPal account.

I was very reluctant to join Swagbucks myself, but i've earned hundreds since joining in the couple of years I've been a member on the site.

To sign up to Swagbucks click HERE

Once you've signed up and logged in to the site, learn about the ways you can earn SB by clicking through the options on the site in the "ways to earn" menu at the bottom of the screen.
Ways you can collect SB include watching videos, filling in surveys, doing daily discoveries.

There is a Swagbucks Daily to do list which gives you 8 tasks to complete daily. These earn you extra points and are only a few of the tasks you can do to earn Swagbucks on the site. For more information on the Daily to do list - please click HERE

You can download video apps for the mobile which earn you Sb, if you autoplay these videos you can earn Sb whilst you are busy doing other things. Click HERE for more info on Video apps for the mobile.

If like me you are a computer or laptop user you can download the Swag Button which you can use to watch videos, do searches, use as a quick link to shops linked to Swagbucks. By using the Swag Button to watch videos you can leave it streaming videos in the background which will autoplay and earn you swagbucks whilst you are busy doing other things on the laptop and using other browsers / sites. For more information on the SwagButton and how it works click HERE.

DONE Savvy Circle.

Savvy Circle is a fantastic site where you take part in campaigns and obtain some fatastic freebies.

https://circle.supersavvyme.co.uk

In the campaigns they encourage you to share samples with friends, family and colleages asking for their opinions on the product which they have tested. You usually get a larger version of the product for yourself to keep. Of course, finding friends and family can sometimes be difficult for me because a lot of the time I am very ill that I am virtually housebound.

This is the latest product I have done. They had a theme of "the doorstep challenge" where you get family and friends to pose with the box they receive. They fill in a sheet after testing to fill in which you submit to the site.

Here are a few of the pictures from my campaign.

DONE Frugality.

I have always been frugal minded from a young age. No need for it, I'm not hard up, I just don't like to waste money.

Sometimes I take the frugal side too far - getting one item in a shop such as olive oil or cheese - could mean walking to all the different shops in the town center to work out which is the best price per quantity. A few pennies saved soon adds up. I love going to the reduced isles in shop and have worked out where reduced items are located within all my local supermarkets. Of course, not being able to drive does mean that I can't take advantage of the Mark down times.

I will use a pair of scissors to cut open a tube of toothpaste - I usually get an extra 3 days worth of useage out of what others class as an empty tube.

Dog walks to me also mean skip hunting - if I see a skip locally whilst out on a dog walk I will have a quick glance to see if there is anything worth salvaging. Quite often whilst on dog walks there are things ditched in the bushes - my most recent find is a "granny shopper" - the wheel is loose and it needs mending, but it is fixable.

Every penny on the floor, is a penny in the pocket!

I have turned 3/4s of my garden in to a vegetable patch so that I can grow my own veg. Courgettes always seem to grow in abundance, to the point I went down the road asking if people wanted any - in return I received beans, tomatoes and cucumbers which neighbours had grown at allotments. I don't see the reason for an allotment unless you don't have a garden. My garden isn't big, but what space I do have has a use. I also try to grow my own herbs.

Plenty of good free stuff on the free pages on facebook, gumtree and even cheap items with 99p start on facebook - of course, again the lack of a car means that many of these bargains are impossible for me to get. Even with the cost of running a car these items are still worth getting for free (most of the time - providing you have a use for it either now or in the future).

I LOVE charity shops! You'd be amazed with some of the bargains you can find in the local charity shops.
